Fear…

Fear of the unknown.
Fear of feeling.
Fear of losing.
I think I’ve come to terms with the fact that I’m just one scared girl in a world where there’s a lot to be afraid of.
Cade, Lex, and Reid helped. They pulled me out of my own head, helped me feel a sliver of happiness again. But with that, I gained a new set of worries.

What if I lost another person I love?

I’m not perfect. I’ve made mistakes. Running away won’t ever be one of them again though. I’m back at Spring Hill High to fight for the ones I love. Fight against a set of enemies that want to take everything I have away.
Well, we’ll just see about that, won’t we?

**You won’t want to miss this conclusion of the Spring Hill Blues series!

A High School Bully Romance.

My Review:

This one started out super strong then kinda fizzled at the end. I’m glad it is only a two book series but I’d really love to hear what happens between Cade and Jules.

So Reid and Briar are pretty strong even though they are both working through how deep their feelings for each other go and what their future holds when they graduate and go to college. What really shook me up was her leaving again and what that did to her parents. We don’t have a lot of interaction with the parents in the first one but they play a bigger role in this one. And because they came in so late to the story I didn’t really feel a connection to them, or maybe its because their issues weren’t really addressed as deep as they could have been.

Sasha as the big bad was incredible. She really had no soul and just wanted to watch the world burn. And Oscar! OMG, I knew his character was familiar (The Heights Crew). I loved how the first book made a reference to The Ballers of Rockport High and this one made the reference to The Heights Crew.

These guys were thrown a curve ball when Reid got hurt and his college football career was jeopardized. Also, Lex’ feelings towards Briar put a definite strain on their friendship. They worked through everything in the end and it all tied up very nicely. It just took a bit longer for them to get there than I thought was needed. Still loved it.
