Stacking The Shelves is feature/weekly meme created by Tynga’s Reviews (and co-hosted by Reading Reality) in which you share the books you are adding to your shelves, both physical and virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Lenoreo’s Haul

(All Ebooks unless otherwise specified)

NetGalley ARC Requests Approved:

  • Amelia Unabridged by Ashley Schumacher from Wednesday Books (St. Martin’s Press) — releases February 16th, 2021.

ARCs From Authors/PR Companies:

Preorders That Went Live:

Borrowed From The Library:

  • Felix Ever After by Kacen Callendar, narrated by Logan Rozos — I’m listening to this one right now and really enjoying it!  For my July theme of LGBT Summer for the Diversity challenge…course, now it’s August, but whatever.
  • The Wallflower Wager (Girl Meets Duke #3) by Tessa Dare, narrated by Mary Jane Wells — I have the Kobo ebook, but I’ve really enjoyed the narrator for this series, so placed a hold and got it.
  • I’m Not Dying with You Tonight by Kimberly Jones & Gilly Segal, narrated by Brittany Pressley & Channie Waites — Again, I have the ebook, but wanted to check out the audiobook, and my hold came through.

Purchased:

  • The Raven and the Dove (The Raven and the Dove #1) by Kaitlyn Davis — I needed a Retelling for the “Mythical Creature on Cover” square on my bingo card, and this one sounded fascinating!  A Tristan and Isolde retelling.

Had To Get The Next In The Series:

  • Courage (Greystone #8) and Havoc (Greystone #9) by Taylor Longford — The last 2 books in this series, I’ve finally finished it!  Reviews coming soon.  Snagged these ones from Kobo in my quest to fuck over Jeff Bezos.

Got It On Sale:

  • Fae Hunter (Tangled Fae #1) by Sarah K.L. Wilson — I think this was a recommendation for #COYER Book Club, and it sounded interesting, and it was free, so I snagged it.  It’s no longer free, but it’s only 99 cents so still a good deal.
  • Sea Witch (Sea Witch #1) by Sarah Henning — Once again I was looking to fill spaces in my Retellings Reading Challenge Bingo, and this one fits either the Mythical Creature on Cover square, or the Villain square…and since it’s (still) on sale for $1.99 from its usual $8.99, I took a risk (Kobo).
  • Perky (Do-Over #2) by Julia Kent — Saw this one in my BookBub email, on sale for 99 cents from its usual $4.99, so I snagged it from Kobo.  Still on sale!
  • Zero Hour (Wired & Dangerous #1) by Megan Erickson — I follow this author on eReaderIQ.  So when I got an alert that this one was on sale for 99 cents from its usual $4.99, I one-clicked on Kobo.  Still on sale.
  • Bad for You (Dirty Deeds #3) and Down Too Deep (Dirty Deeds #4) by J. Daniels — I enjoyed the first book in this series, so I think I wishlisted the rest of the series (and previously got book 2).  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that these books were on sale ($2.99 from $5.99, and $1.99 from $5.99), I snagged them on Kobo.  Still on sale.
  • Pleasure Unbound (Demonica #1) by Larissa Ione — This is one of the August #COYER Book Club picks, so I snagged it from Kobo since it’s on sale for $1.99 from its usual $5.99.
  • Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ’s Childhood Pal by Christopher Moore — I have this book on Paperback, and I really enjoyed it.  I was looking through the deals on Kobo and saw it on sale for $2.99 from its usual $9.99, so I one-clicked.  No longer on sale.
  • Great and Precious Things by Rebecca Yarros — I read an ARC of this one and really enjoyed it, so when I got an eReaderIQ alert that it was on sale for $2.99 from its usual $7.99 I snagged it.  Good thing too, because it was like a one day thing.
  • Mister McHottie (Girl Band #1, The Berger Siblings #1) by Pippa Grant — I haven’t read much by this author, but I got an eReaderIQ alert that this one was free from its usual $3.99, so I grabbed it.  Still free!
  • Strength (Lost in London #2, London Lovers #5) by Amy Daws — I think I saw this author mention this sale in the Book Bonanza Attendees Group on Facebook, free from its usual $3.99, so I one-clicked.  Still free!

  1. I got The Reality of Everything, too. I read it on Saturday. I couldn’t put it down. It’s my favorite in that series, maybe favorite she’s written.
