Stacking The Shelves is feature/weekly meme created by Tynga’s Reviews (and co-hosted by Reading Reality) in which you share the books you are adding to your shelves, both physical and virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Lenoreo’s Haul

(All Ebooks unless otherwise specified)

Preorders That Went Live:

  • Roommate by Sarina Bowen — released January 12th, 2021.  Preordered on Kobo.

Borrowed From The Library:

  • Warping Minds & Other Misdemeanors (The Guild Codex: Warped #1; Guild Codex Universe #11) by Annette Marie & Rob Jacobsen, narrated by Iggy Toma — First in a new spinoff series, was highly entertaining.  #Hoopla
  • Puppy Kisses (Forever Home #3) by Lucy Gilmore — And I finished the series, review coming soon!  #Overdrive
  • Damned Souls and a Sangria (The Guild Codex: Spellbound #8; Guild Codex Universe #12) by Annette Marie, narrated by Cris Dukehart — And I finished Tori’s series!  *sad*  #Hoopla
  • Delivering Evil for Experts (The Guild Codex: Demonized #4; Guild Codex Universe #13) by Annette Marie, narrated by Cris Dukehart & Teddy Hamilton — And that’s it for Robin’s series too, *double sad*.  #Hoopla
  • One of Us is Lying (One of Us is Lying #1) by Karen M. McManus, narrated by Kim Mai Guest, MacLeod Andrews, Shannon McManus & Robbie Daymond — Currently listening to this one for January book club for COYER.  I’m not much of a mystery/thriller reader, but it’s been entertaining (even though I’m impatient).  #Libby
  • Ash Princess (Ash Princess Trilogy #1) by Laura Sebastian, narrated by Saskia Maarleveld — I needed a break from the previous book, so I started this one to fulfill my Monthly Key Word challenge.  So far so good!  #Libby

Audiobooks:

My hubby’s work gave us a VISA gift card for Christmas, and he let me use it to buy credits from Libro.FM.  And of course I bought as many of the GCU as I could so I can relisten and relisten (I already had Spellbound #5 and Demonized #1 on Audible with whispersync).

Got It On Sale:

  • Lauren’s Barbarian, Veronica’s Dragon, Willa’s Beast, Angie’s Gladiator, & Hannah’s Hero (Icehome #1-5) by Ruby Dixon, narrated by Felicity Munroe & Sean Crisden — This is a spinoff series of Ice Planet Barbarians.  I haven’t finished that series, but I saw these first 5 books on sale on Chirp ($2.99 for the first, $3.99 for the rest) and I snagged them.  I’ve really enjoyed IPB, so even though I still need to finish up quite a few books from there, I wanted to take advantage of the sale.  No longer on sale.
  • Interference (Prescott Family #1) by Mignon Mykel — I think I have a prequel novella in this series, as recommended by Deanne @ A Novel Glimpse, so when I saw this on my BookBub, on sale for free from its usual $3.99, I snagged it on Kobo.  Still free!
  • Darkness Dawns, Night Reigns, Phantom Shadows & Darkness Rises (Immortal Guardians #1-4) by Dianne Duvall, narrated by Kirsten Potter — This is a favourite series, and I’ve heard good things about the audio.  So when I saw it on Chirp for $2.99 for the first, $3.99 for the next 3, I snagged them.  No longer on sale.
  • Suddenly Royal (The Royals #1) by Nichole Chase, narrated by Caitlin Davies — This is a book I read and loved way back in 2013, and I always meant to read the rest of the books in the series.  So what better way than to listen to it?  It’s part of the Kiss Club selections for January at Libro.FM, on sale for $3.99 (less if you have a membership), so I snagged it!
