My rating:
Blurb:Nora says she’s happy.
Dagesh isn’t so sure. He loves his pretty human mate and wants nothing more than to bring a smile to her face…so she’ll go running into his arms. When he asks the tribe what she’s missing, someone suggests a wedding.
All right, then. He’ll throw the best barbarian wedding ever.
So how does Nora tell her determined, thoughtful mate that what she wanted wasn’t a wedding…but something a little different in bed?
4 stars — Wow, I didn’t see the conflict in this one coming! I kind of appreciate that Ms. Dixon showcased what it would be like for a couple, especially a couple coming from different planets, trying to figure out how to compromise in the bedroom. I especially loved Josie’s talk with Dagesh.
I really thought this was going to be about the wedding part, but I’m not disappointed at all. I think the only thing that bums me out is that Nora really didn’t talk to Dagesh…but she eventually figured that out, otherwise this would have been more like a 3.5.
It was an interesting book to finish the series with, and even though it was a bit overwhelming, I appreciated the way Ms. Dixon tried to give a glimpse of so many of the characters, especially at the end.

Blurb:Josie's Wish A Holiday advent calendar novella
4 stars — Well, that was a cute little short! Exactly what you would expect from Josie and Haeden, but still adorable.
You finished! I need to get back to this series. I’m glad it was a good experience for you.
