Stacking The Shelves is feature/weekly meme created by Tynga’s Reviews in which you share the books you are adding to your shelves, both physical and virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Lenoreo’s Haul

(All Ebooks unless otherwise specified)

NetGalley ARC Requests Approved:

  • Just Pretending (The Chicago Falcons #3) by Leah and Kate Rooper from Entangled: Crush (Entangled Publishing LLC) — releases November 5th, 2018.  Tyler!!!
  • Rabi and Matthew by L.A. Witt from Riptide Publishing — releases November 5th, 2018.  I’m probably going to save this one to read in December for that month’s theme of “Religious Minorities” in my Platypire Diversity Challenge.
  • My Favorite Half-Night Stand by Christina Lauren from Gallery Books (Simon & Schuster Canada) — releases December 4th, 2018.  I can’t believe I got this one!  So excited!

ARCs From Authors/PR Companies:

  • Royally Yours (Royally #4) by Emma Chase from InkSlinger PR — releases October 30th, 2018.  I’m reading this one right now and thoroughly enjoying it so far!  It’s weird reading almost my name.
  • Across the Street (Romance For All Seasons #2) by Sandra Marie — releases November 1st, 2018.  The most recent teaser for this one is killing me…I gotta wait until after my spooky readathon though.
  • Hockey Holidays (A Hockey Romance Holiday Anthology) by Various Authors from L. Woods PR — releases November 13th, 2018.  Hockey *and* Holidays?  Sign me up!  Also, this one is just 99 cents on preorder, and proceeds go to charity!

New Releases:

  • The Day I Stopped Falling for Jerks (Jerk #1) by Max Monroe — released October 18th, 2018.  I DESPERATELY wanted to sign up for ARCs for this one, but I was a responsible person and actually understood my lack of time management skills and refrained.  It killed me.  But yay!  The book is on a release week sale of $2.99, so I one-clicked.  Still on sale!

Audible Romance Package:

  • Obsidian (Lux #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout, narrated by Justine Eyre — OK, so right about now I’m supposed to be reading my NetGalley ARC of The Darkest Star, which is a spin-off from this series.  And other reviewers said I wouldn’t be lost, but that it would ruin the original Lux series plot.  And I have quite a few friends who really enjoyed it (Curly Carla included).  But then I spotted THE WHOLE SERIES available with the Audible Romance Package, so I figured I’d see if I’m interested.  I just started listening.  I might end up being late on The Darkest Star as a result, but what else is new.  *sigh*

Got It On Sale:

  • Soulmated (Joining of Souls #1) by Shaila Patel — I cannot for the life of me remember how this one came to my attention, but having more diverse books is always good, so I had it wishlisted.  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that it was on sale for 99 cents from its usual $4.60, I snagged it!  Still on sale!
  • Most Valuable Playboy (Most Valuable Playboy #1) by Lauren Blakely — Welp, I still haven’t read a single book by Ms. Blakely, but I seem to be collecting them as they are recommended by bloggers I follow.  So when I got an eReaderIQ alert that it was on sale for 99 cents from its usual $3.99, I one-clicked!  Might still be on sale…
  • Something So Irresistible (Something So #3) by Natasha Madison — I noticed this one on BookBub, on sale for 99 cents from its usual $3.99, and since I’d gotten the first book in this series as recommended by Deanna @ A Novel Glimpse, I figured I could get this one too just in case.  Still on sale!

That one’s an ARC from a PR firm, so I have to have it read/reviewed for November 13th…so I’ll probably do that one for my HoHoHo readathon. But I have PLENTY of books for the 12 Books of Christmas!!

Oh, I LOVE Emma Chase! I don’t know what it is about her writing voice, but it just speaks to me…

I’m enjoying it so far! I have an ARC from the spin-off series, and since I know you liked the original, I figured I should read it first.
