Stacking The Shelves is feature/weekly meme created by Tynga’s Reviews in which you share the books you are adding to your shelves, both physical and virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Curly Carla’s Haul

(All Ebooks unless otherwise specified)

NetGalley ARC Requests Approved:

  • Glow: Book I, Potency by Aubrey Hadley from Ruby & Topaz Publishing — releases February 13th, 2019.  I got an email about this and it looked interesting.

Gifted/Won It (Christmas):

  • Hush (Lush #2) by S.L. Baum. Lenore is the bestest blogging wife EVAH! She got this for me.
  • The One (The Selection #3) by Kiera Cass. I bought this for myself after Lenore bought me The Elite for a book exchange we participated in.  It was expensive but totes worth it.
  • Fury Focused (Of Fates and Furies #2) by Melissa Haag.  Another gift to myself after I read the first one.
  • Fury Freed (Of Fates and Furies #3) by Melissa Haag. Well….I had to finish the series.

Kindle Unlimited:

  • Ruthless Magic (Conspiracy of Magic #1) by Megan Crewe.  I recently read the 5th Annual End of Year Survey on Mom with a Reading Problems’ blog and was amazed with the similarities in genres we shared.  So, I got this rec from her.
  • Pestilence (The Four Horsemen #1) by Laura Thalassa.  Another book I saw on MWARB blog. Great book so far BTW.

Got It On Sale:

  • The Douglas Fir by Anyta Sunday.  She always has lots of sales and this is one I didn’t have so I got it for free. No longer free.

Lenoreo’s Haul

(All Ebooks unless otherwise specified)

NetGalley ARC Requests Approved:

  • On Thin Ice (Juniper Falls #3) by Julie Cross from Entangled: Teen (Entangled Publishing LLC) — releases February 26th, 2019.  I really enjoyed the first two books in this series, and was so excited to see there was a 3rd!

Preorders That Went Live:

  • Going Down (Romance for all Seasons #4) by Sandra Marie — released January 1st, 2019.  I loved this one, see my review here.

Newsletter Freebies:

  • We Own Tonight by Corinne Michaels — I’m still a member of the Taste of Romance group on Goodreads, and this is the free January read that they’ll be reading and discussing.  I remember reading some great reviews for this one, so I couldn’t resist.  Again, it’s not really a Newsletter Freebie, but you do end up signed up for Ms. Michaels’s newsletter in order to download your copy, so I counted it.

Audible Romance Package:

  • Waiting on the Sidelines (Waiting on the Sidelines #1) by Ginger Scott, narrated by Laura Darrell — So, I had very mixed feelings when reading this book before (see my review here), but since I’m going to move on to book 2, I wanted to reread.  And heck, maybe a different format (listening to an audiobook), will help?
  • Going Long (Waiting on the Sidelines #2) by Ginger Scott, narrated by Laura Darrell & James Fouhey — I might as well listen to this one instead of read as well.

Audiobooks:

  • Not So Nice Guy by R.S. Grey, narrated by Teddy Hamilton & Luci Christian Bell — I have no idea what I was doing when I ran across this audiobook being out.  I haven’t yet read my Kindle copy, and when I saw Teddy Hamilton & Luci Christian (Bell) were the narrators, I squeeeed!  And then when I saw it had a Whispersync deal of $1.99, you couldn’t have stopped my one-click finger if you tried.
  • Maid for Love (Gansett Island #1) by Marie Force, narrated by Holly Fielding — I was doing some prepping for the book signing events I’m attending this year, and theoretically Ms. Force will be attending Talkbooks Author Event near Boston in April 2019.  And since I haven’t read this one in YEARS, and have a bunch of Gansett Island books to catch up on, I figured I’d see if it was on ARP.  It wasn’t, but it had a Whispersync deal of $1.99, so I thought I’d give it a shot!

  1. Starting the new year with an ab-light edition of STS I see. One of these days I need to check my matchbook pricing for audiobooks (although I’ve got several from just buying them during sales to listen to as it is so…)

Hope you ladies have a wonderful weekend.
