Stacking The Shelves is feature/weekly meme created by Tynga’s Reviews in which you share the books you are adding to your shelves, both physical and virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Lenoreo’s Haul

(All Ebooks unless otherwise specified)

Borrowed From The Library:

  • The Great Pursuit (Eurona Duology #2) by Wendy Higgins, narrated by Saskia Maarleveld — I got the first book on audio from the library and loved it and the narrator (see my review here), so I wanted to finish the duology on audio.  But my library didn’t initially have the audio of this one, so I requested it, and it was just approved!

Newsletter Freebies:

Audible Escape:

Formerly Audible Romance Package — and I actually got all of these 2 weeks ago, but I forgot…I don’t get emails when I borrow, so I forget easily.

  • Ever After Drake (The McCain Saga #1) by Keary Taylor, narrated by Stephanie Bentley — DNF’d, wasn’t for me (see my review here).
  • Beauty and the Mustache (Knitting in the City #4, Winston Brothers #0.5) by Penny Reid, narrated by Joy Nash — a reread, but first time listen (see my review here).
  • The Substitute (The Wedding Pact #1) by Denise Grover Swank, narrated by Shannon McManus — I’ve read this one, but I want to finish this series before Penned Con, and when I saw the narrator, I knew I wanted to listen!

Got It On Sale:

  • Something So: The Complete Series (Something So #1-4) by Natasha Madison — I already had books 1 and 3 of this series, but when I spotted this box set of the complete series in my BookBub email on sale for 99 cents from its original $9.99, I snagged it.  Still on sale!

I remember reading Rebel Heir. Looks like you are digging the audio books. My daughter likes audio books too, we listen to them together in the car.

I’m actually really loving them when I find a narrator I like! It can be hit and miss, personal tastes differ so much you know? But I’ve also found that they’ve made some books I probably wouldn’t have ever read more accessible (like the Wendy Higgins one, because it’s fantasy/historical-ish). So glad you and your daughter get to listen together, that sounds awesome!
