Blurb:

Falling into bed with a sexy stranger while on vacation isn’t a first for Heather Carter, falling in love with him is.
Malcolm Barnes, broody owner of The Drunken Moose is tall, tattooed, and in lives in the wrong state.
Is their long distance romance doomed from the start, or will their fling turn into forever?

My Review:

3.5 stars — This one was definitely cute, but kinda surface/shallow.  I didn’t mind as much, because there’s kind of different expectations for a novella vs a novel, you know?  It made me feel good, I loved the kissing scenes, but I wouldn’t minded a bit more of something.

I honestly couldn’t really tell you what Heather and Malcolm were like.  Which is probably why I’ll round down instead of up.  I don’t mind knowing less, but I really felt like I was missing something to take it the extra step.  I loved that Malcolm was a sweetie who loved fostering dogs, that definitely gave me a peek into him.  And I got to see a bit more of Heather with her interactions with Yolanda.

They were pretty cute together, and the hurdles didn’t last all that long…or maybe it’s that everything moved fast enough with time jumps for nothing to seem like a big deal.  That’s not always bad.  I loved the kissing scenes (as I said), but wouldn’t have minded some more detailed steamy scenes if we weren’t going to get as much from them individually.

If you’re looking for something light and easy to make you smile, this definitely accomplished that!  🙂
