Blurb:

This sixth book of the Immortal Descendants series is a compilation of the special 10th Anniversary edition epilogues, plus a new novella celebrating the love story of Ringo and Charlie.

Their love was a quiet, slow-growing thing …… that built from friendship, adventure, and shared experiences. In this final chapter of The Immortal Descendants series, Ringo and Charlie begin their own journey of love, laughter, and all the misadventures a pair of Victorian street urchins can encounter when they’ve travelled through time. Where, exactly, is home for two people who have journeyed so far, and if they find it, can they ever truly go back?

My Review:

5 stars — Since I’d read the box set of the first 3 books and they weren’t updated with the new epilogues, this was the first time I was able to read them.  I kind of loved getting a Ringo-related summary and then getting to see the epilogues in a row like that, it really showed the progression of Ringo and Charlie’s relationship.  I loved seeing them form that tentative connection and understand that they had both been fundamentally changed right from the first book.  I loved how Ringo learned those lessons of made family, and connection, and applied them in his own life.  I loved that their relationship wasn’t perfect and infallible, but had to grow just as Archer and Saira’s did.  I loved that while I adored Ringo, he wasn’t perfect either and he was soooo young when it all started.

And I absolutely adored refreshing my memory of their wedding, and seeing the set up for their life together back in their original time stream.  And even having already read Mrs. Mac’s story in Pride Not Prejudice, I absolutely adored seeing this first meeting with her.  She was just PERFECT for them.

And now I am absolutely THRILLED to start their own spin off series.  I mean seriously, who doesn’t need more Ringo and Charlie in their lives?

COYER Community: I buddy read this one with Berls yet again, and we both thoroughly enjoyed it!  She also rated it 5 stars (her review coming soon).
